Nia Dacosta’s “Candyman” brought plenty of scares to the theater back in August, and now the horror reboot/sequel is coming home on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital – and we’re offering a chance to win a free Blu-ray + Digital Combo Pack!
Set decades after the events of the original “Candyman” (1992), the latest installment picks right back up in Chicago’s Cabrini-Green with visual artist Anthony McCoy (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II). The horrors of the hook-handed killer have turned into more urban legend than fact, but when Anthony rediscovers the Candyman, he just might end up bringing the slasher back.
The home release comes packed with over an hour of bonus features, including a never-before-seen alternate ending, deleted and extended scenes, as well as special featurettes taking viewers behind-the-scenes of the film and deeper into this complex and deeply resonant contemporary take on the bone-chilling urban legend.
