After receiving about as many release dates as a movie can get due to pandemic delays, “Free Guy” finally hit theaters back in August. The result? One of the biggest surprises of the summer.
The Ryan Reynolds and Jodie Comer-led video game adventure delivered genuine humor and creativity as it railed against the IP and sequel-driven pop culture complex of today and felt like a breath of fresh air. Now, for anyone who didn’t get the chance to check out “Free Guy” on the big screen – or those just looking to add it to their home collection – we’re giving away a copy of the film on Blu-ray and digital.
The home release comes loaded with bonus material, included deleted and extended scenes, four featurettes diving into the making of the film, and a gag reel. But more on that later in our home release review.
